Cohen co-created and wrote False Flag which broke existing drama records in Israel and became the highest ever-rated launch of a scripted show. It won the Grand Prix at France's Series Mania festival and was acquired to broadcast in 130 territories. Together Cohen and Leshem also created and co-wrote The Gordin Cell (adapted into English-language series Allegiance by NBC Universal). Creators' Statement
“Traitor’s uniqueness lies in its characters – ordinary, relatable people who unexpectedly find themselves at the centre of an enormous story and are then sucked into the investigation without experience or the tools to deal with it. They discover they are in danger and they are forced to make choices, fight, take on the system. This makes for an espionage format where the secrets are more human, and the characters more empathetic and relevant to the viewer.”
